Bringing one filled with memories from your favorite trip together? Even better.

And then hiding a love letter in the back as a surprise? Cue the tears.


Norleen and John absolutely melted my heart during their engagement session. These two live oceans apart—literally—but their connection is magnetic. Norleen’s in Canada, John’s in Australia… for now. But come August, Norleen gets to pack her bags (and maybe her cam and video gear, too!) and finally move to Aus to be with John full-time. Long-distance love story turned forever adventure.


They wanted their session to feel like them—candid, nostalgic, and full of little moments. So they brought their film camera and an old-school dad-style video cam to document their trip together. I can’t tell you how much I love when couples add these little touches. It turns the whole day into something even more personal and meaningful.


Also, can we talk about the album?! When Norleen pulled it out, I just about passed out from the cuteness. Page after page of memories, smiles, and adventures—and then, tucked in the back, a handwritten love letter. Bonus points unlocked.


This was one of those sessions that felt more like hanging out with friends than “work.” A little bit of vintage, a whole lot of love, and a vibe that was 100% Norleen & John. Their story is only just beginning, and I can’t wait to see where the next chapter takes them.
