A Perfect Picnic Getaway


I had such a blast šŸ“ø photographing Ashley and Frankā€™s engagement session out by the river in Kananaskis. With their wedding coming up next summer, this was the PERFECT excuse to sneak away from the city and capture a piece of their love story in a suuuuper beautiful, laid-back setting. šŸŒ„


The timing couldnā€™t have been better... Back in Calgary, the whole city was absolutely buzzing šŸŽ as everyone geared up for the Stampede, and you could practically feel that lively, yahoo energy in the air. But slipping out to the quiet mountains gave Ashley and Frank this peaceful little escape šŸžļø from all that hustle and bustle.


Letā€™s talk about that picnic! šŸ§ŗ OBSESSED!!! Ashley went all out, setting up the most adorable spread. She had these perfect little salami roses, all these thoughtful touches, and you could just tell she put her heart into it. They even brought along some champagne to pop šŸ¾, and the whole vibe was just effortless and fun.


You could really feel how comfortable and in love they are, and it made capturing those candid moments such a joy. Every laugh, every little glance at each other...it all just came so naturally. šŸ˜Š Weā€™re already counting down the days until their wedding next summer, because if their engagement session was this much fun, their wedding day is going to be an absolute blast.
